Deister's key cabinet can greatly simplify key management. The cabinets are easy to use and administer. A user can retrieve their key by identifying themselves with RFID tags, PIN or fingerprint.

A simple stand-alone cabinet may fit for a few keys, but multiple lockers in one or more geographical locations can be linked together to handle a virtually unlimited number of keys together. Many also choose to integrate their key cabinets with a superior system, such as Unison, for administration and alarms.
